What a blend is
A blend is a single vial containing more than one synthetic peptide, lyophilised together at fixed proportions. Blends exist so a multi-component preparation can be handled as one inventory item with one lot number instead of several vials that must be combined at the bench.
This page is reference information for laboratory personnel handling research materials. It contains no medical, dosing, or human-use guidance of any kind.
GLOW composition
- GHK-Cu — copper tripeptide, the component that gives the blend its characteristic blue tint
- BPC 157 — short synthetic peptide
- TB-500 — synthetic peptide fragment
- Supplied lyophilised in a single sealed vial at 80 mg total
KLOW composition
- The GLOW components — GHK-Cu, BPC 157, and TB-500
- KPV — additional short synthetic peptide, the K in KLOW
- Supplied lyophilised in a single sealed vial at 80 mg total
Why blends look different
Blends containing GHK-Cu are visibly blue rather than white, because the copper tripeptide carries colour. A blue cake in a GLOW or KLOW vial is expected. A white cake in a vial labelled GLOW or KLOW is worth querying with the supplier before it is logged.
Documentation for blends
A blend's certificate of analysis reports on the blend as supplied, with the batch number matching the printed vial label. Because the proportions are fixed at manufacture, the blend cannot be separated back into its components after the fact — inventory records should track the blend as its own item, not as its constituent peptides.
For work that needs each component independently characterised, single-compound vials are the correct choice; a blend is not a substitute for individually documented materials.
